A New Kind of Safety Net
Bilik wasn’t just another family tracking app—it was built to redefine how parents approach child safety in the digital age. Instead of intrusive, constant surveillance, Bilik offers freedom with intelligent safeguards, ensuring children explore with independence while parents stay informed.
The challenge? Bringing this balance to life through branding, product design, and messaging—without falling into the clichés of fear-based marketing.
Our job was to make safety feel empowering, not restrictive.
Marketing That Speaks to Parents, Not At Them
The safety tech space is cluttered with fear-driven messaging. We flipped the script.
Instead of “Protect your child from danger”, we leaned into “Give your child the freedom to explore—confidently.”
Our growth strategy focused on:
- Messaging that reassures, not alarms.
- Ads that feel like invitations, not warnings.
- A brand voice that speaks to modern parents—not helicopter parents.
We launched multi-channel ad campaigns that positioned Bilik as the simplest, smartest way to parent with confidence—leading to significant engagement within the first few months.

Designing Trust & Simplicity
We started at the foundation: What does peace of mind look like?
Bilik’s branding needed to reflect security, warmth, and intelligence without feeling overly corporate or clinical. Our solution?
A visual identity inspired by harmony – a soft yet modern design system that reassures parents while staying sleek and intuitive.
Inspired by Copenhagen’s innovative park designs, we used gently curved paths and forms to symbolize the balance between exploration and structure—mirroring how Bilik gives children freedom within safe boundaries.
A color palette drawn from walkable, community-centered towns, combining grounded, natural hues with bright accents—designed to evoke safety, optimism, and the joy of independent discovery.
The logo, app interface, and website all carried these themes forward—fluid, calming, and easy to navigate.

From Vision to Product
A safety app should be simple. But simplicity is complex.
Bilik’s product experience had to be effortless for parents and invisible for kids—no battery-draining tracking, no clunky setup, no overwhelming notifications.
We worked hand-in-hand with the Bilik product and engineering teams to craft an experience that was:
Seamless to set up – Parents install the app, pair their child’s phone, set safe zones, and go.
Smart, not intrusive – Real-time alerts only for unusual patterns, reducing noise and unnecessary stress.
Visually intuitive – A clean, fluid UX that guides users naturally through each feature.
Designing trust meant designing clarity. No unnecessary friction. No complex dashboards. Just peace of mind at a glance.

The Results: A Smarter Approach to Child Safety
The results were electric. Aembit’s fresh new look and messaging snagged them 2nd prize at the RSA Conference within a year—talk about making waves! And the inbound requests? They shot up, proving that a strong brand really does open doors.
Looking to build a brand that connects, empowers, and stands out?
Our work didn’t end at launch. We continue to partner with Bilik—advising, refining, and evolving both the brand and product as they grow.
Because to us, great design isn’t a deliverable. It’s a relationship. And momentum? That’s something we build together.
